Matt did several jobs at our house and always did excellent work. The most involved project consisted of rebuilding some existing cabinets to accomodate a flat screen TV and we were very pleased with the result. I beleive Matt has the skills necessary to undertake just about any project around the house.
I worked with Matt on a number of jobs both inside and outdoors. These projects included such components as landscaping, carpentry, door/lock installations, electrical and plumbing work – exhibiting some of Matt’s vast skill set. He is a hard worker and charges very reasonable rates.
I had a very extensive to-do list that I didn’t think would ever get done until I met Matt. He came out and in one day had most of my items done – something I thought would take days. He can do electrical work, plastering, carpentry, just about anything. I no longer have to dread getting work done on my 160 year old house, with Matt I know it can get done, quickly and correctly. Matt is an amazingly efficient, resourceful and competent handyman. He’s helped us with everything from plumbing an electrical projects to picture-hanging and Ikea furniture assembly. It may be a cliche, but no job is too big or too small and he is easy to get a hold of, always on time, and reasonably priced. We will certainly miss having him here in Houston.
We met Matt in 2004 in WA. Having purchased a rather large home which had 14 year old original paint on the inside– it was in need of a major paint job. Matt was great. He treated each wall as if it was his home. The lines were perfect, the detail paint areas were flawlessly done and each days work was cleaned up and all of his items were neatly set aside so as we were not inconvienced in the evening. Always careing, always on time, a pleasure to have in your home as a contractor. I have witnessed other jobs he did here and they too were great. He also upgraded his home in Bremerton, WA with a total kitchen remodel that truly brought out the best in that house. Matt is by far the best handyman I have ever encountered. He is smart, resourceful, creative, fast, responsive, and competent. He can accomplish virtually any task in or around the house, and he does it with utmost perfection, accuracy, and speed. He has done many projects in our house (assembling furniture, hanging heavy objects and curtain rods, replacing door knobs, painting, etc.). I’m truly jealous of Virginia Beach clients who will get to benefit from Matt’s outstanding skills. I have yet to find a handyman here in Houston with half the ability and talent that Matt has.
Matt built a window seat for us in our kitchen and did a fantastic job – we are really pleased with the result and have already recommended him to some of our friends. He was friendly, clean and honest about what the project and will deifnitley be using him again in the future.
Matt Kucharski did an absolutely outstanding job on our complete bathroom renovation (demo down to the studs and a complete rebuild). His craftsmanship was exceptional, his attention to detail meticulous, and his ability to accomodate our family during a major home makeover was impressive. He’s a great guy to boot and any homeowner would be very happy with Matt and his professional service delivery. (He even took the casserole out of the oven for my wife, let the dogs outside periodically, and was exceptionally friendly to our children.).
